This month marks the seventeenth anniversary of the passing of our precious son, Ryan.
On the evening of January 11th 1997, we were faced with the unthinkable devastation of having to watch our 14 month old son’s precious life taken away from us. Ryan’s life was violently taken by a criminal who never should have been able to get his hands on a handgun, but did. Never in our wildest nightmares could we have imagined that anything so horrible could happen, but sadly and tragically it did.
Let me begin by telling you what happened on the evening of Saturday, January 11th 1997.

Please note that the Victim's Impact testimony before the PA Board of Probation and Parole on February 18th is just the beginning of the process in considering rewarding an early release to the killer of our Angel Ryan Hacke. The Board will continue to deliberate this decision over the next several weeks. We ask that you to continue to write to the Board and urge them to deny rewarding this killer by allowing him to serve only the minimum amount of his already flawed and inadequate sentence. Please click on the link below or photo to the left to visit a brief explanation of the decision making process and notes on how to contact the parole Board.
